I’m Renee Rothschild — part event strategist, part catering expert, part creative director, and part ringmaster of beautiful chaos.

For more than 25 years, I’ve been creating unforgettable celebrations filled with incredible food, seamless hospitality, and experiences guests actually remember. My journey began in Springfield, Illinois, where I founded Olives Catering Company and built a reputation for elevated catering, stylish events, and service that made people feel genuinely cared for.

Then came the adventure years: Honolulu, Savannah, and Washington, D.C. Each city brought new inspiration, new flavors, and new opportunities to produce events for foreign dignitaries, ambassadors, Fortune 500 companies, and even two former U.S. presidents. From elegant galas to high-profile receptions, I learned how to blend sophistication, creativity, and flawless execution under any level of pressure.

After years in fast-paced markets, I returned home to Springfield and launched Renee Rothschild Catering & Events — bringing big-city experience back with me, along with a passion for hospitality, collaboration, and creating celebrations that feel both elevated and personal.

Today, we offer full-service catering and event planning designed to take the stress off our clients and replace it with excitement. Around here, food is never an afterthought.
